SAFETY RECALL NOTICE REGARDING TISAS 1911 PISTOLS
Tisas USA has recently learned of a potential safety issue with certain Tisas USA 1911 pistols. Tisas USA is voluntarily initiating a recall of these pistols to protect the safety of its customers due to the possibility of the hammer following the slide forward when chambering a round. While the chance of this occurring is extremely remote, and we are not aware of any injuries that have occurred because of this condition, Tisas USA is immediately implementing this recall of Tisas USA 1911 pistols.
If your model is listed below do not attempt to load or fire your Tisas USA pistol. Doing so could possibly lead to property damage or severe injury.
Tisas USA will upgrade any affected pistols in the order in which it is received for inspection and upgrade pursuant to this recall. Tisas USA will supply affected customers with a return shipping label and will cover any expenses related to the inspection and upgrade of the subject firearms.
** Recall Lead Times** Upon submission of the form, Customer Service will notify you in 1-2 business days if your pistol is affected by the recall and provide follow-up information and request any additional documentation. A return label if applicable will be provided in 3-5 business days once all information from the customer is received. Inspection, Upgrade and return time is approx. 3-4 weeks from when your pistol arrived at our facility.**

All Tisas USA pistols include prefix, separated by a dash, followed by an alpha numeric sequence.

POST UPGRADE INFORMATION
Upgraded pistols can be identified by a mark that will be stamped into the frame, remove the mainspring housing to locate. Cases will also have a QC Approved sticker affixed.
Post Safety Recall Notice Pistols that will not be subject to the upgrade can be identfied by serial numbers listed. If your model has a SN higher/later than what is published, the firearm(s) are not affected and no action is required.

Safety Recall FAQ
An issue was identified that could result in a potential safety issue with certain Tisas USA 1911 pistols. Out of an abundance of caution the decision was made to publicly issue this Safety Recall Notice to alert customers and provide a course of action to remedy this potential issue.
No. Tisas USA will cover cost of return shipping to our facility for inspection and upgrade, and shipment back to the customer.
For simplicity of tracking and monitoring the status and progress of your request, please submit the form each firearm you may own that is subject to the Safety Recall Notice and Customer Service will coordinate further with each customer on a case-by-case basis.
If your Tisas USA pistol is exhibits performance outside of factory specification, whether as received from the factory or resulting from end-user modification to the firearm, Tisas USA will return the pistol to factory specification and return any aftermarket parts with the upgraded firearm. When sending your Tisas USA pistol for inspection and upgrade, DO NOT INCLUDE ANY accessories such as magazines or optics.
Please include any documents provided by Customer Service with the firearms itself only. DO NOT INCLUDE ANY ACCESSORIES, such as magazines, lights, or optics.
a. All firearms that are subject to the Safety Recall Notice that have been inspected and upgraded, if needed will be marked on the slide and/or frame and QAQC label will be affixed to the case to identify they have been upgraded.
