Tisas 1911 Duty Optics Ready slide assembly for 9MM frames. Includes sights, firing pin/spring/stop and extractor. Black cerakote finish.

    I haven't had a chance to get to the range, but the finish and fit is an excellent upgrade for my 1911, I would love to see an upgraded threaded barrel with the slide,

    Tisas 19119mm optic cut slide

    When first mounted, would not reliably feed norma or S&B 124 grain. Norma not feed at all. The angle og the cut that passes over the disconnector was shallow in comparison with the slide that came with the gun. Slowed down slide on return. I altered cut to match original minus 20%. Note I could feel difference when racking the slide. My filing reduced the difference. Now it ran S&B and Norma 124’s. However, after 200 rds either dirty mag or elsewhere and she wants to stop feeding with round partly in chamber. Receiver has around 1500 rds through it. No feeding issues with original mag. So guess that either its dirty mag or new slide can still use some breaking in, work. Would I but it again? Yes, I am confident it will smooth out. Overall well made, as with Tisas generally.
