I haven't fired this one yet but the last 7 round magazine worked well, same brand so I don't see there being any issues, it hand cycled the whole mag, I have 2 - 8 rnd that came with my a1 service,but I like the flush fit. I've ran the other 3 magazines - no issues whatsoever, thanks affordable and work well ,, good job

Purchased as an additional mag for the M1911A1 U.S. Army CMP model pistol this mag was also made by Mec-Gar and functions flawlessly. It is exactly like the two mags that came with the pistol.

All five magazines have the same finish as the original,look great fully loaded, and feel smooth when inserting them into the pistol. I will purchase more.

These just plain work, pure & simple, without appreciable issues in function (feed/ejection). So far, I've only tested with 230gr ball--the intended ammo per original design. They look the G.I. part, and will hopefully resist rust/corrosion/etc. in the long term. I'm happy with these mags.
